NDIS Wildlife Program
Adventure Without Barriers — Everyone Belongs at Hobart Zoo & Aquarium
At Hobart Zoo & Aquarium, we believe everyone deserves the chance to connect with wildlife in a way that’s safe, meaningful, and fun. That’s why we’ve created a dedicated NDIS Wildlife Program tailored for Planned Managed participants looking to enjoy nature, animals, and accessible experiences.
Our program is designed to inspire joy, build confidence, encourage curiosity, and create real connections—with animals, the environment, and our passionate zoo team.

🐾 What’s Included:
-
Tailored animal encounters suited to each participant’s interests and comfort level
-
One-on-one or small group guided experiences with our friendly keepers
-
Access to indoor and outdoor play spaces and Tasmania’s largest aquarium
-
Sensory-friendly environments and quiet zones available throughout the zoo
-
Fully accessible paths, amenities, and facilities
-
Opportunities for learning, engagement, and personal growth
Whether it’s feeding a kangaroo, meeting a reptile, or simply sitting peacefully with an animal, we create moments that matter—on your terms.

💡 Who Can Participate?
This program is open to NDIS Planned Managed participants of all ages and abilities. Sessions can be tailored for individuals, support workers, school groups, or carers.
